TETRATUTORING

With a decade of experience in math tutoring and a robust academic background, I am well-equipped to support middle and high school students in their mathematical journeys. I hold both a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering, and I earned my PhD in Civil Engineering from University College London (UCL), University of London, London, UK. My extensive knowledge allows me to provide in-depth understanding and real-world applications of mathematical concepts, fostering both comprehension and interest in the subject.

Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to teaching and mentoring students at various educational levels. For four years, I served as a university professor in civil engineering, where I developed and delivered curriculum designed to engage students in complex topics. Additionally, during my time as a postgraduate teaching assistant for five years, I honed my skills in one-on-one tutoring and group instruction, ensuring that students received the personalized attention they needed to succeed.

My experience also includes two years as an instructional assistant in the San Juan Unified School District, where I taught and tutored students from elementary through high school. This diverse teaching background has equipped me with effective strategies to connect with learners of all abilities, adapt to different learning styles, and cultivate a supportive and encouraging environment. I am passionate about helping students build confidence and proficiency in math, paving the way for their academic success and lifelong learning.
